Mary-Ellen Low
Mary-Ellen Low, also known as Sukie Low, is a retired RN, dog lover, ukulele player, and free spirit. She is the creative mind behind Sookie’s Cookies for Dogs and the heartwarming tales of Miss Sookie and Augie. Her first book, Dear God… Letters from the Nursing Home, shares her compassionate nursing experiences. Mary-Ellen lives in Aiken, SC with her husband and two rescue dogs, Cleo and Augie. Her favorite motto: “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”

Madelyn is a talented sixth grader at Tall Pines STEM Academy in Aiken, SC. She excels in school, loves reading Warrior Cats, and competes in gymnastics. Her artistic creativity shines in this book, bringing Miss Sookie and Augie to life. With her motto, “Trust the process”, Madelyn inspires young readers and budding artists alike.
